Drainage

Tired of wet areas in your landscape that never dry out?

It’s probably due to poor drainage (backyards are notorious for this). Call us before the rain season starts for a drain system that will remove excess water from those areas.

An ideal drain system will have the following:

  • 3”-4” white solid PVC drain pipe.
  • Catch basin with removable grates so you can remove trapped debris periodically
  • Install catch basin at strategic location low spots, landlocked areas, usually residents and buildings, and landscapes such as concrete.
  • Connect roof downspouts if any
  •  Core drill curves and sidewalks at street to discharge excess water at street gutter level
  • Install Y connections instead of T connections to get better flow of water
  • Using solid white PVC pipe instead of black corrugated eliminates debris sticking to inside grooves of corrugated tubing and plugging up prematurely. Also white PVC is less likely to bend when tree roots start pushing on it.
  • Use a laser level to correctly attain constant sloop form start to finish
